We see them all the time, neighborhood cats, or maybe you have some outdoor cats yourself. Sometimes if they're feral they don't want to come inside and they're hard to catch. Here's a super simple shelter you can make for the outdoor cats in your neighborhood that will keep them warm as temperatures enter dangerous low territories today and tomorrow.

All you need are

  • A plastic tote container
  • Styrofoam cooler
  • Straw
  • Pen
  • measuring tape
  • A knife

If you want you can take it a step further by adding a small bowl of water inside so the cats can have access to non frozen water (but you will want to check it to ensure it doesn't freeze)!

This video explains how to put the entire thing together.

It's a quick and easy way to help out!
