One thing I love about the Evansville area is when someone in the community needs help, the Tri-State always steps up to lend a helping hand.

Food Truck Fire

On Friday, July 15th there were reports on Facebook about a food truck being on fire.  Later it came out that the food truck in question was Fat Cat's BBQ. Fat Cat's BBQ is a staple in the Evansville food truck scene, known for its delicious smoked meats and BBQ plates. I mean where else can you get a plate of ribs with 2 sides for $12?  On top of spotting the Fat Cat's BBQ food truck at many local events, they also cater events as well.

Hope After Fire

Unfortunately, the fire was a total loss, but Fat Cat's BBQ took to Facebook to announce, "this isn't the end."

Good Afternoon everybody! As you all know Fat Cats BBQ has suffered a tragic fire on today.
It is with sadness to announce that we have no choice but to close until further notice at the food truck. We will remind you all that Fat Cats BBQ does and will still do catering events small and large and pop up vendor opportunities as the opportunities come by THIS IS NOT THE END FOR US!

Since the food truck was a total loss, a Go Fund Me has been set up to help cover the losses of Fat Cat's BBQ.  You can find the Go Fund Me here, and if you'd like to help out you can donate or share the Go Fund Me.
