Speaking of Live Music, Welcome to the Jungle!

Any good outdoor festival worth visiting must have live music and the lineup for SummerFest has a great lineup, including an all-female Guns N Roses tribute band called Paradise Kitty. These women are phenomenally talented and have previously played venues like Counts Vamp'd in Las Vegas and Hollywood's iconic Viper Room, as well as the Monsters of Rock Cruise. In a post shared on Facebook, SummerFest organizers shared more about Paradise Kitty.

Comprised of veteran L.A. based drummer, Rachael Rine, frenetic frontwoman, Jenna Syde, and a revolving cast of some of the best female string players on the Sunset Strip, Paradise Kitty is poised to kick in your door, and blow the roof off with their authentic Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy, and Steven loving hearts. Welcome to the new rock-goddess-infused jungle, boys and girls. Paradise Kitty is coming to your town and it will be crazy.

Local and Regional Favorites Too

In addition to Paradise Kitty, local and regional favorites, Lindsey James Williams and Annabel Whitledge will both be performing that evening as well, with all the concert performances being free to attend.

Three Friends and a Vision

The vision of three friends and Henderson residents, SummerFest will feature live music with a focus on raising awareness and money for area non-profits, including  Audubon Kids Zone, Healing Reins of Kentucky, and The Chloe Randolph Organization will be the beneficiaries of the inaugural event. While Summerfest is completely free to attend, the public is encouraged to make donations through the SummerFest website that will then go to these charities.
