To qualify for homeownership, individuals or families must have an income at or below 80 percent of the area median income. Additionally, they must demonstrate a genuine need for housing, a willingness to contribute 300 hours of sweat equity, attend homeownership classes, and have the capacity to pay a 25-year, no-interest mortgage.
