Green Day Announce New Greatest Hits Album ‘God’s Favorite Band’

It's their greatest hits AND some new rock, too!

Green Day has 14 albums under their belt (if you count "¡Uno!", "¡Dos!", "¡Tres!" as three separate albums.) And it looks like their working their 15th album (and 2nd greatest hits compilation) with "God's Favorite Band", named after their performance on Late Night with Stephen Colbert back in March of this year.

They made the announcement yesterday on their Facebook page, thanking Colbert, and also saying that in the album there will be 2 new songs and 1 new music video and all before Christmas! (God bless us, everyone.)

So mark your calendars for Nov. 17th, or, if you have the patience, put it on your Christmas list. Or, if you aren't patient, you can pre-order it now on their website.
