In his Monday afternoon address, Governor Andy Beshear gave Kentuckians the latest case total in the Commonwealth.

And that total is now 481 after 42 new cases were reported today. There were also two COVID-19-related deaths--an 88-year-old in Kenton County and a 90-year-old in Simpson County, both of whom, the governor indicated, had other underlying issues.

Monday's executive order from Governor Beshear was about travel. He asked us to refrain from traveling out of state except for the following reasons--if your job requires it, if you're on a border and you need groceries or medicine, if that travel is necessary for health care, if you're caring for loved ones who can't leave their homes, or if there's a court requirement.

The executive order requires those who travel out of state for any other reason than those listed above to self-quarantine for 14 days upon their return.
