The Evansville Otters will open the doors to Bosse Field and invite the public to come see more than just the field, concession stands, and bathrooms during their Open House on Saturday, August 22nd while the team is on the road taking on the River City Rascals.

Like myself, when fans head to Bosse Field to cheer on the Otters, the only places we get access to is the stands where we sit, the concession areas to grab a hot dog and a beer, and the bathrooms when it's time to make room for more hot dogs and beer. During the Open House, fans will be able to look around areas of the stadium normally off limits to the general public including locker rooms, lounge areas, garages and other usually off limit areas. The team will also provide inflatables for the children on the front lawn of Bosse Field, and there will be a doubleheader softball game at 1:00 p.m. between members of the Evansville Police and Fire Departments.

The event runs from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and the best part? The entire event is FREE to attend!

At 1:00pm members of the Evansville Police and Fire departments will play a softball doubleheader.
