GBF Adoptable Dog & Cat Of The Week: Tucker & Twix

We've teamed up with our rescue friends in Posey County, Indiana. Each week we share an adoptable dog from PC Pound Puppies and an adoptable feline friend from Posey Humane Society as well as details on how you can make them a forever part of your home. Let me introduce you to your next best friend.

Meet Tucker

Two-year-old Tucker is as handsome as he is hunky. He weighs in at around 50 pounds and this guy loves a good squeaky toy! According to PC Pound Puppies,

...Tucker is stealing hearts with his looks. He's a rather stalky, brindle pit bull terrier. He is house and crate trained. He walks okay on a leash after his initial energy is out. He's is good with other dogs but might try to hum, just needs to be put in his place by the dog. He is completely obsessed with squeaky toys and will carry them around everywhere. He also loves the water and would probably make a great dog for going out on the lake.

The PC Pound Puppies standard adoption fee is $175 ($250 for puppies 6 months and under, or small dogs 15lbs or below) which covers a portion of the dog's vetting costs. The adoption process includes the completion of an application followed by an interview. If you're interested in adding this pup to your family, you can fill out an adoption application here. The adoption process does require a completed application as well as an interview. The rescue will not schedule a meet and greet without having first received a completed application.

Meet Twix

Twix is a unique and beautiful little lady. With her long, soft torti fur she is waiting for some Netflix & purr time. She definitely would make a perfect companion.

At first glance at Twix, you will notice she is missing an eye, but look closer and you will see a beautiful girl, with stunning colors and long coat. We are not sure what happened to Twix’s eye, but we do know she is a sweetheart.

Posey Humane Society has plenty of other kitties as well as lots of dogs, both young and old.
