including cities in Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. According to post from the Evansville/Vanderbugh County Emergency Management Agency,

IN THE WAKE OF A STRONG COLD FRONT, MUCH COOLER AIR WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE REGION TONIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE SHOULD BE OVER THE AREA EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. WITH LOWS ANTICIPATED TO BE IN THE LOWER TO MID 30S, AND WINDS RELAXING AND BECOMING LIGHT DUE TO THE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM, FROST MAY FORM TONIGHT.

WE ARE ABOUT TWO WEEKS AHEAD OF WHEN THE NORMAL FIRST FROST OF THE SEASON IS. FROST WILL BE MOST LIKELY IN OUTLYING AND SHELTERED AREAS. SOME AREAS MAY SEE LITTLE OR NO FROST. IT SHOULD BURN OFF QUICKLY EARLY SATURDAY MORNING, SHORTLY AFTER THE SUN IS UP.

The frost is expected late tonight and will remain overnight into the early morning. Covering your sensitive, outdoor plants is recommended.
