I am finally learning to play guitar! And while my progress may be slow-going, I am able to learn at my own pace thanks to Fret Zealot, a revolutionary new way to learn.

Learning to Play Guitar at My Own Pace

It has been a few months now since I began my journey into learning to play guitar with Fret Zealot. After literally decades of wanting to learn to play, but continually finding myself strapped for time, I was so excited to find out there is an easier way to learn that allows me to go at my own pace. Since my career keeps me pretty busy, and a lot of my time outside of work is spent with friends, family, and out in the community, there just never seemed to be enough time to invest in learning to play guitar. Not to mention my schedule can be pretty irregular too, making in-person guitar lessons pretty much impossible. Luckily, Fret Zealot has offered me a way to learn guitar that works - even with my hectic schedule.

Progress Not Perfection

Maybe one of the best things about the Fret Zealot system is that I can go at my own pace and I don't have to be perfect. Learning guitar on my own with this revolutionary system takes away the stress of needing to be perfect for my next lesson. If I make a mistake or flub up a chord, I am the only one who hears it. For me the flexibility of being able to make progress, no matter how slow, as opposed to reaching musical perfection is a big bonus for me. Not to mention, Fret Zealot offers lessons and courses from some of the greatest guitar instructors in the world right at my fingertips with the app. It really is like Netflix for music education

Learning Guitar with Light

Fret Zealot offers an optional LED light system, which is what I have installed on my acoustic guitar. It works in tandem with the Fret Zealot app to literally show me which strings to fret and where. It makes the learning process incredibly simple. It's an almost fool-proof (Kat-proof!) way to learn to play guitar. I've even started to play some of my favorite songs.

Massive Library of Music

Fret Zealot has a library of more than 80,000 songs. Regardless of who your favorite band or artist is, there is a pretty good chance you will find their music inside the app. The more I get comfortable with fretting chords, the bigger my "music bucket list" of songs to learn is getting. Thanks to the incredible led technology of Fret Zealot, I know that I will be able to start ticking songs off that list.

Still Room to Grow

Dexterity has definitely been my biggest hurdle. I have some stiffness in my hands from working on computers all day and because of that, my movements on the fretboard can still be a little clunky. Fortunately, Fret Zealot allows me the freedom to work through my personal hiccups.
