Faulty Airbags Result in 1.3 Million Toyota Vehicles Being Recalled
Toyota is the latest auto manufacturer to issue a recall due to faulty airbags. It seems that there is a specific type of propellant used in the manufacturing of these airbags that, over time can degrade and cause the airbag to deploy, sending debris into the cabin of the vehicles. The recall impacts not only Toyota models but also Lexus and Scion as well between 2003 and 2013. Again, Toyota is not the only manufacturer impacted by the faulty airbags.
