Every year, I watch Bing Crosby croon about having a white Christmas in Vermont and Rosemary Clooney brags about washing her hair in snow. And, every year the ONLY day of the year I wished it would rain buckets of snow from the sky is pretty much the only guaranteed day we don't see the glistening peaks of white. I don't remember the last time it snowed on Christmas here in the Ohio Rivery Valley. But, I know Mother Nature has NO problem with providing mounds of it on my birthday in January when it's no longer wanted, desired, or hoped for.

So, what does Christmas 2017 hold? The Farmer's Almanac is predicting.. that.. we might see some flurries! WHOOHOO! According to their White Christmas Forecast Page, "The Ohio Valley (southern Indiana and Ohio, Kentucky) will feature showers, then flurries from the 23rd to 31st." We are officially in the "Likely to Have Snow on Christmas" area! Now, I understand that's the 23rd to the 31st (aka a really long time) and there's absolutely no guarantee that we'll see snow on the 25th. But, I'm hoping and praying that Santa will sprinkle us with special magic when he flies by the tri-state!
