If you or someone you're close to has ever been pregnant, you know how exciting it is to get a glimpse of the growing baby.  I remember when my sister in laws were pregnant with my niece and nephew, I'd check my phone nonstop when they had an ultrasound appointment just waiting for them to text me a new photo to see how the little babies were growing. It was so exciting to get to see a glimpse of them, and see how they grew with each ultrasound.

USI is offering free ultrasound exams for pregnant participants to help their Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program students. These ultrasounds will be done on the USI campus for free.  However the sonograms are not diagnostic, they're for educational benefit only. So while they won't be able to take the place of a regularly scheduled ultrasound with your doctor, they are an extra cool chance to see the growing baby on a sonogram.

Volunteers do need to be between 18-28 weeks pregnant, and will need a physicians release before the appointment. Appoints will be scheduled for Wednesday January 20th, Thursday January 21st, or Friday January 22nd.  If you're interested in participating you can set up your appointment by emailing usi1dms@usi.edu

USI Diagnostic Medical Sonography is looking for 18-28 week pregnant volunteers for student-performed ultrasounds on campus next week Jan. 20, 21, and 22nd. Feel free to share! 😊
