The fact is, friends if you're looking for a job in the Tri-State, there are plenty of opportunities. There seem to be hiring events happening just about every week. I mean, already this week, I've produced a couple of recruitment commercials for local companies, and I did a live broadcast from a hiring event at Anchor Industries. There are jobs to be had if you want one.

The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) is hiring right now too - they are looking for more bus drivers. In fact, they are hosting a hiring event on Friday, April 30th at Central High School for anyone interested. Now, before you leave this article because you're thinking "I don't have a bus driver's license," or "I've never driven a bus before," just know that those things do NOT matter. The EVSC is inviting anyone that is interested to come out. Maybe you're kind of interested but you're not sure if you could even handle a big ol' bus - well, now's your chance to find out - you can come and test drive a bus in Central's parking lot.

If driving a bus for the EVSC sounds like something you might be interested in, come out to Central High School on Friday morning from 8am-12n. Don't worry if you can't make it on Friday, because the EVSC will host another event just like it in a couple of weeks at Harrison High School. If you can't make it to either event, and you're still interested in being a school bus driver, visit the EVSC online.
