The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library will move to curbside pickup service once again due to the rise in COVID-19 cases. The shift will take place starting Monday November 23rd at all EVPL locations, except EVPL east due to ongoing construction in the area. In a press release from EVPL they stated:

The decision to shift services was made with the health and safety of library staff and our community in mind and out of an abundance of caution by EVPL Administration and with the EVPL Board of Trustees. EVPL will continue to navigate these circumstances with everyone's well-being in mind, making decisions informed by the latest science-based information and our Library Policies.

If you'd like to take advantage of EVPL's contactless curbside pick up, it will be available at all EVPL locations (except EVPL East) from 9A-6P Monday-Saturday.  You can go to EVPL.org or call, and have them hold the items you want to check out.  Then you'll set your pickup time and location and a member of the library staff will meet you with your items.  EVPL also has an extensive digital library, that includes thousands of eBooks, eAudiobooks, movies, TV shows, music, and more which are available to all library users.  You can check out more about their digital collection, here.
