Evansville's Horror Con

Last weekend, March 11th and 12th was Evansville's inaugural Horror Con.  To say the weekend was a huge success would be an understatement! 103 GBF was really proud to be able to partner with Horror Con, and on Saturday morning when I got to the National Guard Armory, the line to get into Horror Con was lined down the parking lot! Evansville really showed up and proved we've got a LOT of horror fans in town! Below is a photo from early Sunday morning at Horror Con.

A Fun Weekend

Over the weekend I ended up spending Saturday and Sunday at Horror Con, and I still didn't see everything! There were so many incredible local vendors selling some unique items. I picked up a classic horror-themed backpack from the Tri-State's own Karloff's Kreations, a stained glass bat from Chick With an Edge, and plenty of other spooky goodies!  We even got a photo with Slimer!

Horror Con is Expanding

After the successful weekend Raptor Con (the folks behind Horror Con) made an exciting announcement, not only can we expect Horror Con to be back in Evansville for 2024, but Horror Con is expanding and will have Nashville dates as well!

No dates have been announced yet, but our friends in Nashville can expect to see a Nashville Horror Con in 2024! Along with this photo Raptor Con had this to say about the new addition of a Nashville Horror Con:

We have been getting lots of questions regarding this announcement on other pages. We are NOT closing down the Evansville show, we are just expanding to other locations as well. Evansville Horror Con and Evansville Raptor Con are safe and will still take place EVERY YEAR….FOREVER!!!!
PHEW Evansville horror buffs we can breathe easy, because this is in addition to Evansville Horror Con, so we will see much more spooky in 2024!  Be sure to follow Raptor Con on Facebook to stay up to date with announcements for Evansville and Nashville Horror Cons in 2024, and of course to stay up to date with all things Raptor Con which will take place in December of 2023!
