Folks in this area love a good parade, and we're just a couple weeks away from the next big parade in Evansville. The annual Christmas Parade on North Main Street is coming up on Sunday, November 20th.

Thousands of spectators are expected to line both sides of the Main Street parade route and over 100 entries are expected to be a part of this year's parade which is scheduled to begin at 2:30pm. The Christmas parade will once again include local bands from area high schools as well as floats, clowns, cars, dignitaries, other marching and performing groups, and of course, Santa!

Come out early for Santa's Workshop which opens up at 12n at SWIRCA. Come get your picture taken with Santa and let the kids have some cookies and hot chocolate.

The parade route is really simple, no need for a map. It starts in the Old National Events Plaza parking lot and goes north, straight up Main Street all the way to Bosse Field and Garvin Park.
