Who doesn't love the magical world of Harry Potter? The same is true for our animal friends at the Vanderburgh Humane Society. This Saturday, July 30th they will be hosting their annual Harry Pawter and the Magical Creatures adoption event.

This won't be just any themed adoption event, they're going to have snakes and exotic animals, food trucks, face painting AND of course you can't have a Harry Potter-themed event without owls, and they will even have owls from the Talon Trust there!

On July 30th from 10am-2pm, the VHS will be magically transformed into Pawgwarts for a themed adoption event - Hairy Pawter and the Magical Creatures
This is a come-and-go, DOG-FRIENDLY and ADMISSION FREE event for all ages.
$25 ADOPTION FEES! (thanks to the BISSELL Pet Foundation)

Last Weekend for $25 Adoptions

This weekend will also mark the final weekend where the Vanderburgh Humane Society will be hosting $25 adoption fees on dogs, cats, kittens, and rabbits.

The BISSELL Pet Foundation is hosting another National Empty the Shelters event that kicked off on July 11th and goes through July 31st. The Vanderburgh Humane Society has teamed up with the BISSELL Pet Foundation, and they will help offset adoption costs so that way the VHS can offer lower adoption fees on their animals.
