The Evansville Thunderbolts are well into their 2022-2023 season, where they bring pro hockey to the Ford Center all season long. The Thunderbolts were established in 2016 as a part of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). They play 56 games a year against teams in 7 different states. Of those 56 games, 28 are played in downtown Evansville at the Ford Center, the Evansville Thunderbolt's home arena.
Enjoy Dogs Night Out With the Thunderbolts
Coming up on Saturday, January 7th is a unique night with the Evansville Thunderbolts, it's their annual Dogs Night Out. I've always thought this was such a fun idea because typically in the winter our dogs don't get to go out as much, if you're like me you're really bad about taking them for walks when it's bitterly cold out, and you don't really want to sit on patios with your dogs when it's chilly out either. So this is a really fun way to get the pups out of the house for a few hours.
Here is what you can expect at Dogs Night Out with the Evansville Thunderbolts this weekend:
Bring your four-legged buddy to a hockey game! We will have furry friends in the lobby before the game available for adoption! Stick around in the first intermission for our always wild doggie races. We will have a special doggie costume contest as well. The team will be wearing specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. $2 B4 the Puck Bud Light available. Chuck a Pucks are being sold by It Takes a Village.
The Evansville Thunderbolts still have several more theme nights coming up this season, you can see them all, here.
