It looks like Warrick County, Indiana will be getting its first Dollar Tree store.

Currently, you can find Dollar Tree locations across Evansville, including stores on South Green River Road in the Lawndale Commons Shopping Plaza, in the shopping center on Diamond Avenue, the city's west side, as well as a location on Lincoln Avenue, and one on South Weinbach Avenue.

If you're like the rest of us, you have likely stopped into a Dollar Tree location to grab something that you needed in a hurry and for cheap, or maybe you pop in from time to time for inexpensive seasonal decor or craft supplies. Dollar Tree crafting is actually a whole subgenre of the hobby.

Regardless of what you're stopping in for, there are a couple of things you need to know. First, according to a post on Facebook from Evansville 411, a new Dollar Tree store will be built at 8796 High Pointe Boulevard in Newburgh. That build is expected to encompass 9,925 square feet. At this time, there is no known date for completion of the project.

The store known for its single dollar price point has begun selling items priced at over a dollar. Prices now begin at $1.50 and go up to as much as $5 per item with their Dollar Tree Plus sections.
