Dave Mustaine Diagnosed with Throat Cancer

Here's what we know so far. 

Today (6/17/19) Megadeth front man, Dave Mustaine took to social media to make a heartbreaking announcement. He has throat cancer. He also announced that he has begun treatment. However there is some good news, he said the type of cancer he has with the treatment he is receiving, there is a 90% success rate.

Here's what he said on Twitter:

I’ve been diagnosed with throat cancer. It’s clearly something to be respected and faced head on - but I’ve faced obstacles before. I’m working closely with my doctors, and we’ve mapped out a treatment plan which they feel has a 90% success rate...

Our thoughts are with Dave and his family, and here's to hoping for a successful treatment and quick recovery!
