Mysteries rock. Its probably why I watched way too much Matlock and Murder She Wrote, as a kid. In case you have lived under a rock, D.B. Cooper is the name of the only person to hijack a US commercial jetliner and get away with it. This was way back in 1971, and now someone has come forward with a possible ID.

In an exclusive interview with ABC News, Marla Cooper claims to be the niece of the infamous hijacker. Marla says D.B Cooper is, in fact, L.D. Cooper. She claims that L.D. showed up to a family Thanksgiving dinner, shortly after parachuting out the back of the hijacked 747 with $200,000.

Marla says after recent conversations with her family, she is convinced that her uncle is D.B. Cooper. I guess it also doesn't hurt that she is currently selling a book with her story. Marla has turned over a guitar strap made by L.D. and now the FBI is checking it for fingerprints.

So what do you think? Has the mystery of D.B. Cooper finally been solved?
