On Saturday April 11th, 2020 the Green River District Health Department reported 2 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases, both in Daviess County. The total number of reported COVID-19 cases in the district is now 129. An additional COVID-19 related death was reported in Daviess County. There have been a total of four deaths, 3 in Daviess County and 1 in McLean County. As of April 11th, 10 people in the district are currently hospitalized. Of the 129 confirmed cases in the district, 28 have required hospitalization. 55 of the cases in the district have recovered.

It is crucial we do everything we can to stop the spread of COVID-19. Stay home, avoid crowds, wash your hands, and practice physical social distancing – staying at least 6 feet away from others. With this being Easter weekend, staying home is going to be especially tough. But we have to stick with this strategy.” said Clay Horton, Public Health Director. “We all play a part in stopping the spread of COVID19.”
