Coheed and Cambria have issued the video for their new single "Old Flames,” the last pre-release song from their new album The Unheavenly Creatures, which comes out tomorrow (Oct. 5).

The video, which was directed by Charles “Chas” Todd and choreographed by Broadway veteran Jon Rua (Spongebob Squarepants, Hamilton), features wild outfits, modern dancing a pulse-pounding plot with plenty of rocking out.

As a delicate piano line begins, dancers in white leotards and playing the role of bank customers stand in line at a row of teller booths. Angelic choir vocals enter the mix and the outlaws dressed in costumes and holding guns enter the bank and start taking hostages. Then, Coheed frontman Claudio Sanchez removes his serial killer mask and starts to sing while the anthemic song chugs away.

"Don't shoot me, I'm bringing you home / Out of this pit where I left you alone,"  Sanchez croons in one line -- perhaps the one that triggered the bank heist theme of the clip. At first, the bank customers are roughed up a bit and threatened with the automatic weapons, but pretty soon everyone's dancing and the multicolored lights illuminate the surreal scene.

With The Unheavenly Creatures, the follow-up to 2015's The Color Before the Sun, Coheed and Cambria return to the world of sci-fi concept albums. Having paused for an album, Coheed delve back into the multifaceted storylines that weave through the universe of The Amory Wars, which the band has comprehensively -- and sometimes confusingly -- addressed in their other albums and comic books.

Coheed and Cambria will launch a brief headline tour on Nov. 3 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dates are scheduled through Nov. 14 in Birmingham, Alabama. See all the stops here.
