City Urges Motorists to Heed Road Closure Signs & Barricades

In a post shared by Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, the city is urging motorists to heed the signs that accompany the road work that is taking place around the city. According to the Mayor's post, a motorist actually crashed into a construction vehicle late last week after ignoring a traffic barricade and going around. If you see barricades or other signs directing you to take a detour, do it. Follow the signs.
