Bush Announce New Album ‘Man on the Run’
Bush have announced they will release their sixth album, ‘Man on the Run,’ via Zuma Rock Records on Oct. 21. The effort was produced by Grammy-winner Nick Raskuinecz, who is known for his work with Mastodon, Deftones, Foo Fighters and Alice in Chains. The album was recorded at Studio 606, which is owned by Foo Fighter’s frontman Dave Grohl.
The news should please fans who have been awaiting details for the effort since frontman Gavin Rossdale took to Twitter back in July to allude to the fact that Bush had finished recording the album.
Fans will get their first taste of the new record when the rock act drops the album’s lead single ‘The Only Way Out” at digital retailers on Sept. 9. The band has also teamed up with Pledge Music to offer fans who pre-order the album exclusive content, including behind-the-scenes videos of the making of the effort.
'Man on the Run' is the follow-up to Bush’s 2011 release ‘The Sea of Memories,’ which marked their first new album in more than 10 years. It spawned the hit ‘The Sound of Winter.’
Bush have sold close to 20 million albums in North America alone and have 17 Top 40 rock hits under their belt including the favorites ‘Comedown,’ ‘Glycerine,’ ‘Machine Head,’ and ‘Everything Zen.’
