Burn Ban Issued for Vanderburgh County in Indiana

Vanderburgh County is the latest to make the list of counties under a burn ban. Due to extremely dry conditions Vanderburgh County joins Warrick County in banning open fires. According to the Evansville / Vanderburgh County Emergency Management Agency, the ban includes "chimineas, patio fire pits, or similar devices" as well as fire barrels, fire pits or burning on the open ground.
