Bobby G’s Trailer Park – ‘Looper’ [Video]

Here is a look at the first official trailer for Looper, the new sci-fi flick starring Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. And there are a couple things about this movie that make me a little extra interested in it.

The first thing is the plot. It's one of those wacky time-travel movies...and it's about a guy named Joe (Gordon-Levitt) who is a "looper". A looper is basically a hitman, in the present, who kills bad guys from the future. Huh? Ya' see, in the future, bad guys are rounded up and sent to the past. Joe is there when they arrive and he kills them. And in this case, Joe discovers that his next victim is himself (Willis)...from the future. What? Don't think too hard about it...you'll hurt yourself. Just go with it.

The next thing is the way they tried to make Joseph Gordon-Levitt look like Bruce Willis. I guess we couldn't just suspend reality and use our imagination to believe the two guys are the same, just 30 years apart. And they couldn't have Willis, or Gordon-Levitt, play both parts. So what they did was look at pictures of Willis when he was younger, and then used make-up to make Gordon-Levitt look more like him. He spent 2-3 hours a day in the make-up to get that look. What do you think...does he look like a young Bruce Willis?

Looper also includes Jeff Daniels and Emily Blunt, and will be in theaters in September.
