Blink-182's summer plans have been curtailed a bit by Travis Barker's health, but it looks like the drummer is on the path to recovery after being diagnosed with health issues related to blood clots. Barker has now offered a video update giving fans a view inside his recovery process.

Barker says, "It’s been the longest four weeks without playing drums. I played through two shows in Vegas with infection and blood clots before I was able to get a clear diagnosis from a doctor."

In the video, footage of Barker playing with Blink starts off the video before we're taken inside the meeting with his doctor. His doctor reveals that he had the "trifecta" of infection, inflammation in his arms and superficial bloodclots. For now, Barker was given a "week-by-week" approach, but his physician feels he'll be back soon.

Blink-182 are currently off the road, with plans to return Sept. 14 at Chicago's Riot Fest. They also have additional dates as well as more Las Vegas residency shows at the Palms Casino starting in October. See their tour schedule here.
