Blackberry Smoke Bringing Southern Rock To The Stage
Southern rock fans in the Tri-State will have a chance to see one of the genre’s most beloved modern bands live when Blackberry Smoke hits the stage at Evansville's Old National Events Plaza.
The Georgia-based band is scheduled to perform on Friday, March 13, 2026, bringing their signature blend of Southern rock, blues, and country-inspired storytelling to the stage.
Blackberry Smoke Bringing Southern Rock To The Stage
Blackberry Smoke has spent more than two decades building a loyal following while honoring the rich musical heritage of their home state of Georgia. Their songs often read like short stories, drawing inspiration from real-life people, places, and experiences across the American South.
The band’s most recent album, Be Right Here, continues that tradition with a sound rooted in Southern rock, blues-leaning classic rock, and vintage country influences.

A Band With A Dedicated Global Fanbase
Over the years, Blackberry Smoke has built an extremely dedicated fanbase often referred to as the band’s “Brothers and Sisters.” Their fans regularly travel long distances to see the group perform live.
That loyal support has helped the band achieve strong chart success as well. Their 2021 album You Hear Georgia reached No. 1 on the Billboard Americana/Folk Albums chart, while 2024’s Be Right Here landed in the Top 5 on the Top Current Album Sales chart.
The band has also appeared at major festivals around the world, including Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, Summerfest, Glastonbury, and Download UK. Find out more about the Evansville show, including how to buy tickets by visiting the Old National Events Plaza website.
