Be Sure to Look Up Tonight to View the Geminid Meteor Shower
According to NASA the Geminid Meteor Shower will be the best of the year and it's happening tonight!
NASA has said that we can expect to see 60 meteors per hour with this nearly 200 year old meteor shower. The Geminid Meteor Shower is expected to peak just after 9 pm tonight and will last until the break of day tomorrow, December 14th. With the current phase of the moon and it's time of rising, the night sky will be extra dark. Obviously, you'll want to move away from as much light pollution as you can to view the shower but it should put on a pretty spectacular show!
