Summer is slipping away but before it goes, Kat is headed to Panama City Beach, Florida to broadcast live from the Holiday Inn Resort and we want to put you and your app in the sand of PCB too! We have your chance to win a 3 day, night stay at the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach Florida for you and up to 3 of your friends or family.

You could stay in one of the Holiday Inn Resort's beachfront guest rooms with two queen-sized beds, a private balcony, 49-inch TV, full-sized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker - coffee on your private balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico is something everyone should experience!

The Holiday Inn Resort is the #1 family resort in Panama City Beach and it is legitimately like a cruise ship on land. They have thought of every detail for you, making it our favorite place to vacation. There are a lot of places that you can enjoy the sugar-white sands and beautiful, emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico, but you won't find an experience like the Holiday Inn Resort anywhere else. If you're traveling with kids, you can enjoy the 'Kids Eat Free Program' offering free meals for kids 11 and under with a dining adult.

They even offer activities to keep the kids from ever uttering the words, "I'm bored!" while you're on vacation. Have you ever been to a Dive-in movie? They show movies nightly on the pool deck that you can enjoy from the comfort of a chaise or from inside the pool - there are even speakers so you can hear the movie underwater. When you're through with the movie, head down to the beach for a bonfire.

During the day, enjoy a dip in the zero-entry pool or lounge around the all-new lazy river "right on the sandy dunes of the Gulf of Mexico." It's the only lazy river of its kind in Panama City Beach, allowing you to enjoy a view of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico as you float along without a care in the world.

When it's time to eat, enjoy a bite from one of the four on-site restaurants. Your tastebuds will thank you - the cuisine is all the work of the culinary mastermind, Executive Chef Paul Albrecht. He is one of only four Masterchefs in the United States. Trust me when I tell you that you will not be disappointed - the BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos are a must and of course, you can enjoy one of the Holiday Inn Resort's signature beachy adult beverages like the Tropical Blue Wave or the Kiss on the Lips. They can even make you a virgin daiquiri if that's more your speed.

So how do you get in on the chance to win a 3-day, 2-night stay of your own? You'll need the free GBF app and you need to be listening the week of September 13th with Melissa Awesome weekday afternoons from 3 pm - 7pm. We''ll use the GBF mobile app to send you a notification each weekday morning with a band name and song title that Kat has written in the sand. Be the first one to correctly name the band and song when Melissa asks for it, and not only will we hook you up with a 103 GBF Prize Pack but you'll also be in the running for that 3 day, 2 night stay at the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach Florida! Bands in the Sand starts Monday, September 13th. Make sure you have the free GBF app and that you have your notifications turned on.

LOOK: See America's 50 Best Beach Towns

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
