Autism Evansville Hosts Free Family Fun Event 3/23/19
Autism Evansville plans family fun events throughout the year. The next one will be Saturday March 23, 2019 at Walther's Golf and Fun.
Autism Evansville's mission is to impact individuals affected by autism in Southwestern Indiana by cultivating relationships, promoting acceptance and inclusion and providing meaningful experiences.
One way that they create the meaningful experiences is with Family Fun Events. They invite the whole family to interact during these events, so siblings are welcome. Sometimes it's difficult for individuals with autism spectrum disorder to enjoy family outings, because of bright lights, crowds and noise. Walther's Golf and Fun takes special care during these sensory-friendly events, and they turn the volume down on the games.
The free event is exclusively for families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There is no pre-registration, you sign up at the door. This vent is through Autism Evansville, not Walther's, so if you have questions they ask you to call 812-202-9405 or email director@autismevansville.org
