We never thought in a million years 'Joe Dirt 2' would come to fruition, but never say never, especially when your name is Joe Dirt. He is in the one who said, "Things are gonna happen for me."

Though New York Comic Con 2014 kicked off this past Thursday, October 9, the high-profile panels and festivities bring out more intense fans, and that means more cosplayers. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is not afraid to show off his glistening abs. If you have 'em, flaunt 'em, right? He did it a lot in the recent 'Hercules' movie and in Michael Bay's 'Pain & Gain,' and he's about to break out those puppies once again (and, probably, for a lot longer) in Paramount's upcoming 'Baywatch' movie.

We all know what you've been thinking since you saw Rocket Raccoon and dancing Groot steal our hearts on the big screen: when can we take home Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' on Blu-ray and DVD, or even Digital Download? Just, when can we take this bad boy home, period? Well, you're in luck, because Marvel announced the home release dates for its superhero space opera. And guess what?! They come with an exclusive sneak peek at 'Avengers 2'!

After four books, a slew of online fan fiction, merchandise, and five feature films, we all thought 'The Twilight Saga' had officially been laid to rest. But, as we learned from 'Game of Thrones,' "what is dead may never die." Lionsgate announced that a series of short films taking place in Stephanie Meyer's popular world of vampires and shapeshifters will be created by aspiring female filmmakers.

There've been so many 'Spider-Man' movies, from Sam Raimi's Tobey Maguire-led trilogy to the rebooted run with Andrew Garfield, and the cinematic universe is about to expand even more with spinoffs for 'The Sinister Six,' 'Venom' and a female-led character. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are back! The new red-band 'The Interview' trailer shows the duo, who brought us such classic debauchery as 'Superbad,' 'This Is the End' and 'Pineapple Express,' are already starting up some drama with their Kim Jong-un assassination story. If that premise alone isn't enough to make you gasp, how about some NSFW talk of "Matthew McConaughey goat f***," and getting "f***** by RoboCop"?

Fox was so confident that 'The Maze Runner' would be a success that, earlier on, it greenlit it's sequel, 'The Scorch Trials,' based on James Dashner's second installment in his dystopian novel series. Following the film's box office success this opening weekend, though, the studio wants a quicker turnaround and has now slated the sequel for release in 2015, while revealing a first look at what's to come.

The "merc with the mouth" is finally coming to the big screen. After test footage of Ryan Reynolds doing his thing as the sword-wielding comic book figure surfaced online, 20th Century Fox announced that a 'Deadpool' movie will indeed be made, further spinning off the 'X-Men' cinematic universe. But the key question now remains is, will Reynolds himself pick up the reins once again?

"From a young child I was already destined to make one movie and that movie was 'Popeye,'" says director Genndy Tartakovsky, who has been tasked to make Sony Animation's feature film rendition of the iconic character. While the man behind 'Hotel Transylvania' and his team are hard at work on the animation, the studio has released some test footage to give us an idea of what we can expect.

If you're still interested in the idea of a 'Paranormal Activity 5,' you may not be after you hear its new title. Paramount Pictures not only announced the fifth installment's release date for 2015, but also that we'll apparently be entering 'The Ghost Dimension.'

Straight from Hall H at Comic-Con 2014 comes the 'Tusk' trailer, our first look inside Kevin Smith's upcoming horror film. Just be warned, you may never look at a walrus the same way ever again.
