This week Marvel's galavanting galactic heroes hit home video, and we're taking a look at the second series of Hasbro's Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 Marvel Legends figures to mark the occasion. What Hasbro did with the first wave left us fairly impressed, but the roster for the second batch had us just as excited. Nebula, Gamora, Rocket (with little Baby Groot), and a Mantis build-a-figure? Yeah, that might be something we're interested in.

Gentle Giant has made a name for itself as the purveyor of fine sculpted collectibles over the past decade, and this year's Comic-Con exclusives should prove no different. With licenses ranging from Marvel Comics to The Walking Dead to Star Wars and beyond, Gentle Giant has a little big of something for everyone. At Comic-Con 2017, those somethings might cost you a little bit more time and money, but when it comes to cool 6" statues, it's tough to beat Gentle Giant's selection.

Since exploding onto the scene, Funko has been one of the most dominant exclusive providers at just about every convention this side of our solar system. San Diego Comic-Con is still a special beast though, and is home to something like 100 different exclusives from the vinyl figure company this year. Last year, Hasbro introduced a new level of collectible roleplay gear into the Marvel Legends brand. Since Captain America: Civil War was the Marvel Studios movie of the moment, the line kicked off with a replica Captain America shield and an electronic Iron Man helmet for (most) adult heads. These premium items were more than a few steps above what Hasbro had traditionally released for kids, and in 2017, even more gear is on the way. Coming this summer will be an electronic Star-Lord helmet and an electronic Mjolnir just like Thor wields. Ahead of Toy Fair 2017, Hasbro offered up a peek at the new items we'll be jockeying to try on at this weekend's big toy event.
