Indiana is not known for being a big skiing destination, due to our lack of mountains, but located just up the road from the Tri-State is the perfect place to go skiing, snowboarding, or tubing during the Hoosier winter.

Located in Paoli, Indiana is a ski resort that keeps Hoosier winter's a lot more fun. They offer skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. This year they're gearing up for an exciting 2022-2023 winter season by bringing back being open 7 days a week during the winter season, and they're bringing back their tubing this year.

Arctic Blast Tubing Park

To be totally honest with you, I've been to Paoli Peaks twice, and both times I learned I was terrible at skiing, and preferred hanging out in the lodge and riding the chair lift than actually skiing because I was SO bad at it. However, I was in junior high the last time I went skiing, so maybe now that I'm older I'd have more patience to learn skiing I'll be better at it... or maybe I'll just stick with tubing because tubing seems a little more my speed.

For the 2022-2023 season Paoli Peaks announced that they are bringing back the Arctic Blast Tubing Park.

Arctic Blast Tubing is a fun place for families! The tubing park offers an adrenaline pumping experience that is perfect for children and adults of all ages! Inside the lodge you will find bathrooms, concession stand and seating. We also have seating outside and a fire pit.

Paoli Peaks Arctic Blast Tubing Park is scheduled to open on December 17th as long as weather permits. Paoli Peaks made several big announcements, which you can watch in the video posted to their Facebook page, here.
