Some may go into the Apple Store to check out the latest iPad or iPhone, but Friday night (Jan. 17) metalheads gathered at the Apple Store in New York City's SoHo neighborhood for an intimate question and answer session along with an acoustic performance featuring the one and only Zakk Wylde.

Wylde was in town in promotion of Black Label Society's highly anticipated album 'Catacombs of the Black Vatican,' which is due out April 8. The evening began with a question and answer session moderated by Guitar World magazine’s editor-in-chief Brad Tolinski. Wylde also took a few questions from the crowd, with one fan even humorously asking the guitarist if he'd bot lift weights with him and adopt him.

Wylde took the stage for the performance portion of the evening and belted out one hell of a rendition of ‘The Blessed Hellride’ which of course included a powerful solo. He also performed a moving version of ‘Stillborn.’ Wylde concluded the night showing off his skills behind a keyboard as he sang ‘Spoke in the Wheel.’
