Q: What is the difference between nylon and polyester?
Both fibers have their strengths. Nylon is durable with excellent performance and good stain resistance and is the strongest fiber. Polyester produces some of the most beautiful colors and also resists stain well but is not as durable as nylon.

Q: What is the difference between engineered and hardwood?
Engineered is 3 to 5 layers of hardwood, stacked in cross grain configuration, then bonded under heat and pressure. So is less likely to be affected by changes in humidity. Solid hardwood is a single, 3/4 inch thick piece of hardwood that could expand and contract with your homes humidity, so space is left for expansion.
