Come spend an enchanting evening with Wesselman Nature Society as they host the Wandering Owl Beer & Wine Trail on October 17th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. There’s no better way to experience Southwestern Indiana’s most beautiful fall destination than by spending an evening under the changing leaves at Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve.

Stroll along the network of trails that surround our newly renovated Nature Center while enjoying food and beverages from local restaurants. Sample a variety of beers from Working Distributors, Ohio Valley Home Brewers Association, Tin Man Brewing Company & Carson’s Brewery. Wine from Winzerwald Winery, Monarch Beverage and D & E Fine Wine Group will also be offered. Additional food and beverages will be provided by The Dapper Pig, Gerst Haus, Lamasco, Gourmet Smores, The Flying Pigs, Anthony’s Cheesecakes, Chick Fil A, Ri Ra’s, Kanpai, Carne Asada, Manna Mediterranean, Hot Head Burritos, Texas Roadhouse & Mojo’s Boneyard. In addition, the event will feature live entertainment from Keith Vincent.

Event tickets are $50.00 per person and must be purchased in advance. Reservations can be made on our website at www.WesselmanNatureSociety.org. All guests must 21 or older. All proceeds will help Wesselman Nature Society accomplish its mission of serving as a catalyst for environmental stewardship, regional sustainability and improved quality of life through conservation, preservation, research and education.

Wesselman Nature Society utilizes area woodlands, wetlands, and waterways as educational resources, outdoor classrooms, and learning laboratories for educators and students of Southwest Indiana and beyond. Through these opportunities, visitors and program participants may find a greater understanding and enjoyment of natural and cultural resources both inside and outside the boundaries of protected sites. The Wesselman Nature Society was founded in 1973 for the purpose of protecting the nearly 200 acre tract in Evansville, Indiana now known as Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve.
