VHS Happy Trails Resale Shop Opening This Saturday! Support VHS!

The VHS is excited to announce the opening of their Happy Tails Resale Shop this Saturday, November 8! This resale shop will offer all types of great items for sale; household items, clothing, holiday items, books, furniture, pet related items and more.  In the beginning, the shop will be open every other Saturday 8:30-3:00; November 8 and 22, December 6 and 20, and January 3.

The idea for the thrift shop came after researching other humane societies across the country and finding that they supplement their incomes through a similar concept.  The Happy Tails Resale Shop is run entirely by VHS volunteers, allowing all of the proceeds from the shop to support the VHS programs and mission.   We hope, with strong volunteer support, in 2015 we can they open every Saturday and eventually Fridays, too.

Volunteer Opportunities include:

Wednesday 9am – 3pm – Accept donations, sort, price and display

Saturday 8:30am – 3pm – Assist with customers and accept donations

Happy Tails Resale Shop will accept quality items every Wednesday and every Saturday that we are open. Your clean and reusable donated items are tax deductible to the extent of the law.
