Most players would be excited to be named their conference player of the week once. Well just imagine how the University of Southern Indiana's Jeril Taylor after getting that honor for the third time?!

The Screamin' Eagles senior guard has put together an amazing 2016-17 season so far, picking up his third Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honor this season and he wins the honor for the second week in a row! It's been over a decade since a USI player has done what Taylor has done. It was back in 2005-06 when Chris Thompson won four GLVC player of the week honors and was named GLVC Player of the Year. Not bad company!

Thompson won the player of the week honor by scoring a triple-double (15 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists), a feat that hasn't been done by a Screamin' Eagle player since 1987. Keep up the great work Jeril and good luck to the Screamin' Eagles!
