Without question, the UFC's Dana White is unlike any other major sports president/commissioner/whatever. There are a number of things that separate him from others, in a good way...one of which is the access is gives to fans, both with the fighters and with his personal life. This video blog is a prime example.

During the week leading up to most big UFC events, Dana White will release a few video blogs. These vlogs are centered around White and what he goes through for each event. These are great ways for fans to see what goes on behind the scenes...and they really do a great job of building excitement for the upcoming fights. Well during the vlog for the recent UFC on FOX event, White actually took the camera into the operating room while he underwent surgery.

In 2012 it was revealed that White suffered from Meniere's disease, which is an inner ear disorder that affects balance and hearing. Symptoms include a drop in hearing, pressure in the ear, and vertigo. White has said that the symptoms really affected him and were only amplified by the amount of time he spends traveling. So he decided to have a somewhat risky (they all are aren't they?) surgery to hopefully correct the situation. And you get to see a good portion of the procedure on the video below.

I'll give you the same warning that Dana does. If you can't handle seeing blood or watching someone's ear get cut open, you shouldn't watch this video. If you don't have a problem with it then knock yourself out.
