While they have diamond heists in Europe, leave it to America to pull off the Great Girl Scout Cookie Caper.

Thieves made off with 450 boxes of Girl Scout cookies from a storage facility in South Carolina. Taking only the Thin Mints and Shortbread, the cookie bandits made off with $19,000 in cookies.

The storage facility has been used to store Girl Scout cookies for over 40 years. The owner has turned over security footage to the authorities and has promised to reimburse the Scouts for their losses.

So if you see any shady cookie sellers handing out cookies at the back of a Wal-Mart, you should probably call the police.
