The SWAT 5K Obstacle Challenge is Tomorrow Morning. You Can Still Sign Up!

The Evansville Police Department Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is teaming up with the EPD SWAT team to host The SWAT Challenge in downtown Evansville tomorrow morning. The SWAT Challenge is Evansville’s first city-based obstacle course. The course will be a 5K run with 15+ obstacles throughout the event. Proceeds from the challenge will go to the EPD Foundation, which exists to award financial grants to the Evansville Police Department for specialized equipment, education, collaborative community programs, and for the support of EPD personnel. A portion of the funds will also go to training and equipment for the SWAT team. Don’t miss this chance to see what you’re made of.
