Marvel certainly wants The Inhumans to be a spectacle worthy of IMAX, but you’ll still be able to watch the event premiere on TV. ABC confirms a late September premiere for the new series, along with a slightly-better look at its cast.

Director director Roel Reiné appears to have been asked to take down a first photo of Attilan, though the banner image suggested a September 29 premiere. That’s now been confirmed, as the first two episodes will premiere back-to-back Friday, September 29 at 8:00 P.M., following the two-week IMAX run beginning September 1.

So reads The Inhumans synopsis:

After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.

Elsewhere of Marvel’s The Inhumans, we know that Iron Fist alum Scott Buck showruns the series for Marvel and ABC. Roel Reiné directs the first two episodes, while Marvel has stated that The Inhumans will not have any direct crossover with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. or the films.
