The Evansville Otters Are Back At Bosse Field This Weekend

The Evansville Otters return to historic Bosse Field for a 5-game home stand from May 24th through May 30th...starting with games against the Windy City Thunderbolts this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Before I go any further, let me first congratulate (former) Evansville Otters first basemen/designated hitter Andrew Clark (pictured) on getting picked up by the Chicago White Sox. I had a chance to see him play last weekend and the kid is a beast! He has had a pretty decent season so far (sarcasm), batting .643 with four doubles and four RBI's in this still young season. Congrats Andrew and good luck!

Now, back to this weekend...these Memorial Day Weekend games are sponsored by Eastland Mall...where, by the way, you can pick up some free tickets. Friday's and Saturday's games start at 6:35pm and Sunday's game starts at 5:05pm.

I will continue to scream from the rooftops that there is not much better in life than spending an evening at the ballpark, especially when it is Bosse Field...it really is a slice of Americana. And you can't be the value either. General admission tickets are just $5, but you don't have to look hard to find free tickets...and you can upgrade to box seats for just $8. And it's still early enough in the season that it would totally be worth it to buy season tickets. I gots mines!
