'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' is coming to Comic-Con, and it wants to show off Jamie Foxx's character Electro. So much so they've cut a little teaser for his appearance at the Con.

There's not much here but a little marketing shock and awe, but for those worried that Foxx might look a little goofy in his costume and get up, this seems to erase those doubts. And with the announcement that it will be in Hall H on Saturday, it also suggests that this arrival isn't something that will be kept within the walls of the convention center. We'd hazard a guess that there will be some sort of trailer coming out of the panel.

But Sony and everyone involved seems to think they have a winner on their hands, and considering the recent Entertainment Weekly magazine cover, they want to build the hype for the movie starting now even though the film isn't due out until next summer. They're planting seeds, which -- after the mixed reception that 'The Amazing Spider-Man' got -- is smart.

We'll be covering the panel this weekend, but expect that we'll offer any and all updates as soon as they're available. Stay tuned as we bring you more information straight from Comic-Con 2013.
