We've heard the rumors. People have gotten some strange things stuck in places they don't belong. We all saw what Ryan Dunn did with that Hot Wheel car in the Jackass movie. And now three doctors have gotten together to tell their story.

The book is called Stuck Up: 100 Objects Inserted and Ingested Where They Shouldn't Be, and the docs (all writing under pseudonyms) reveal the weirdest cases and the stories behind them. Two of the authors, Rich E. Dreben and Marty A. Sindhian, M.D., did an interview with the Huffington Post.

"Sometimes patients tell us that they were doing some type of household chore in the nude when they 'fell' or 'tripped' or 'jumped into bed' and 'landed on the object,'" Dreben said.

Dreben and Sindhian say that patients who find themselves in these situations, come in all forms. Like a mental patient who rolled up a tuna can lid, like a cigar, and swallowed it. Or children who swallow coins. Or some dude who was drunk, and took Buzz Lightyear to 'infinity and beyond'.

Both doctors say that the back story really doesn't matter as much, they both make sure to respect their patient and not make fun of them.

"Physicians are trained to be as non-judgmental as possible; we do not want patients to avoid seeking help because they believe they will be judged by their doctors."said Dreben.

Dreben, Sindhian and emergency room physician Murdoc Knight (who also co-authored the book) said inspiration came from an x-ray of a cassette tape jammed where 'you tell the IRS to put it year after year'.

Keeping up with the times, the book also has a patient with an iPod...down there. I think I'm going to stick with PC.
