It’s getting to be that time of year, and The CW is going all-in with its formal renewals. Good news has arrived for fans of Black Lightning, Arrow, Flash, Riverdale, Supernatural and more, but who got left in the post-apocalyptic cold?
Arrow, Flash and others work around DC’s live-action limitations, even as certain properties remain in development hell. A live-action Batman Beyond in particular has eluded fans, but a new post from the Arrow-verse concept artist might bring that dream closer to reality.
Black Lightning is exactly the jolt of reality the TV superhero genre needed – a jaded, vulnerable hero at a time ugly divisions of the past have come roaring back. Our pilot review, and a look at what’s to come.
Even as Arrow once again revoked access to Deathstroke, fans kept hope that recent references to Batman and Wonder Woman might signal greater leniency with the major DCEU characters. As if the real world weren’t increasingly rife with Nazis, the Arrow-verse has a whole planet full of them. See the forces of “Earth-X” invade Barry and Iris’ wedding with a full trailer for the four-way crossover event between Supergirl, Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.
If the “Invasion!” weren’t bad enough, now the stars of Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow have a “Crisis on Earth-X” to contend with. Get a first look at Barry and Iris’ wedding, along with new superhero “The Ray” and Nazi Supergirl with photos from all four hours of the November crossover.

We weren’t terribly surprised when Supergirl opted for its own Superman rather than shatter universes with a Smallville star, but The CW drama has nonetheless hosted a bevy of Super-cameos. Now, both Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum confirm they’ve been approached to join different Arrow-verse series.

It seemed criminal of The CW to head into next week’s four-part crossover between Supergirl, Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow without a fresh trailer, but never fear. See Kara’s fiery relationship with Heat Wave, along with fresh looks at the Dominators and more in brand-new footage!
