Kick Ass 2

There's something thematically appropriate about a movie telling the story of a butler who quietly influenced the United States taking the number one spot at the box office over its flashy, bigger rivals. Lee Daniels' 'The Butler' took multiplexes by storm this weekend, taking down last week's competition as well as a handful of seemingly strong newcomers.

Comic-Con 2013 may be in full swing, but that doesn't mean those of us stuck at home are completely left out. Although 'Kick-Ass 2' will be showing off all kinds of new footage for the folks in Hall H this week, we get to check out a new TV spot for Jeff Wadlow's upcoming sequel. Sure, it's not the same, but it'll do for now.

We're only a couple of months away from the debut of 'Kick-Ass 2,' which means it's about time for the stars of the film to begin promoting it -- Jim Carrey certainly has a original way of doing so: by denouncing the violence in the film.

Yep, I'm sold...I wanna see this! I love the concept of Kick-Ass (and now the sequel). Take a super-hero movie that would normally be kind of a watered down PG-13, and instead make it a badass, uber-violent, no doubt about it R rated movie. Eff yeah!
